As the road season was coming to a close, a group of riders from Seattle decided to go and ride the Rebecca's Private Idaho (RPI) in Ketchum, Idaho. I love this place so much. I actually lived in Ketchum back in 1997 where I learnt to bike race. So it was great to go back to my old stomping grounds we a great group of friends to ride some gravel. The day was upon us that we all have been waiting for. To summit 7 passes and do nearly 15,000ft of climbing. We had pre ridden the course on a few of the climbs so we knew a little of what to expect. With 9,000 riders it was a slow start for those back at end of the start. A few guys were lucky to stage up front as they paid a little more to get a better place :) The day was amazing and also very challenging but all the guys finished with respectable times and no one crashed...
