Girodana Warranty and Crash Replacement

Giordana garments are made by hand to achieve the highest quality and durability.

 

Giordana's warranty covers the quality of construction for 12 months from the date of delivery, taking normal wear and tear into account. For example, if someone wears out their bibs after putting 1000 miles on them in a single season, this is considered abnormal wear and tear and is unlikely to be covered by the warranty. However, if the bib strap breaks or the threads come loose within the first two months of ownership, these issues will definitely be covered by our warranty program.

Whenever possible, Giordana prioritizes repair over replacement. This is mainly because Giordana aims to minimize waste, as reproducing an item has a more significant environmental impact to the environment than a repair. Repairs are scheduled periodically, and they are sent back to Italy, returning with their regular shipments. In summary, the entire repair process may take approximately 8 weeks for the item to be returned to the customer.

When it comes to crash replacements, Girodana assess each case individually. However, for a crash replacement, they will recreate the item at the original order price. It's important to note that high-priced items that are challenging to reproduce, like the NX-G bibshort, may not be eligible for the crash replacement policy due to their high production cost. On the other hand, for a product like the FR-C bibshort and the FR-C Lyte jersey that is damaged in a crash, Giordana would reproduce that specific kit at your regular order pricing without requiring a minimum order.

Lastly, Girodana would like to highlight that our packaging is environmentally friendly and biodegradable, a feature that is not emphasize enough.
